Exhaust Options
I need to change the exhaust on my zero before it will go through the IVA. Previous builder installed a cheap can which is both too loud and without a
cat. I really don't want to pay the £425 GBS want for theirs (+ £40 for the mount!).
What other options are there? I can get it to a custom shop to have one made so it'll need to boot straight onto the manifold I have coming out
of the 2.0 blacktop.

I got my can and cat from here, very reasonable and passed IVA - http://www.profusioncustoms.com/
Made the rest up with stainless bends off ebay.

I got a standard 22" x 6" stainless universal silencer from ebay, a 400 cell weld in cat er from ebay, I raided a local exhaust suppliers
scrap bin for bends, straights of exhaust (for nothing) and then mig welded the whole thing together, I wrapped the manifold and cat with exhaust wrap
and total cost was about £110
Have a look about half way down this page https://ianhaynes20.wordpress.com/the-car/

Why not use an OEM can from a large engined super/hyper bike, e.g. Kawasaki ZX12R? It will be quiet, capable of flowing enough gas for ~180bhp or
more and cheap to pick up on eBay etc. You may need to fabricate a mounting flange for it, but no rocket science involved.

I adapted an R1 can for trackday use as I feared my Westfield box would be too loud. It was very quiet.
