Newbie in need of coil over shocks

Hey all,

Please can someone advice me on what shocks (inc springs) to purchase for a book built car, have only started bought mk2 escort as donor and just started to strip it down grrr nightmare.

If anyone can help it would be much appreciated

Hi Harvey welcome to the site .
have you tried the search button at the top i am sure all the info you need will be on here somwhere.
Their are even people who sell shocks on the site .
Mine are Spax fully adjustable 220 front springs and 180 rears(not cheep) this is on a 1300xf book built

also look up avo, gaz (dampertech) and imho slightly better: pro-tech (ally bodied adjustable) and GTS (cheap, non adjustable)

darren at GTS sells shocks, adjustable ride height, but not adjustable damping. thiny they are £220 a set inc. springs.
cant comment on the ride of them, but they seem good to me.
