what gear shift on your BECs?

Evening all. What gear shift system are you using for your BECs?

Ive got an R1 5vy rear engine Roadrunner racing SR1 with push buttons on the steering wheel for up/down shift via Kilktronic electric gear change system. Its connected to a flatshifter and autoblipper for downshifts. Im thinking of either going paddle shift or maybe rod/cable with a proper shifter stick but want to keep the autoblipper and the clutchless up/downshifts

Any opinions or pros/cons?

I had both, with a rod actuated stick shift. I found the stick better for low speed shifts

I agree with 40 inches, 20 years ago I had one of the original Kliktronic systems and rod operated gear stick on my blde powered F27. Slow speed/lower revs, manual change would be smoother as you could change slower/gentler. When you are really on it, kliktronic all the way.
