There are people who know how to make a Locost roof look good:
Sadly, Trev D has moved on to other things, but you have to admire the skills of a professional metal basher...

Whilst a considerable amount of skill and time went into making that, it fails totally as a roof, yer still gonna get wet when it rains.

I believe that it had doors when it was finished! Though don't hold me to that - my memory's not what it used to be...
...and yes, it was an astonishing piece of work, but body repairs on classic cars was his day job.
