Identifying 2.0 Duratec

Hi

Can someone tell me where I can find the engine code on a 2.0 Duratec please.

That's a crate ford power products duratec, there should be an engine code on the sticker on the rocker cover, likely DHE420.
It could have come from a caterham, morgan, westfield, or other small volume manufacturer.
The codes are unique to ford power products, and don't directly relate to factory fitted engine codes.

It would originally be supplied like this:

On the bell housing flange stamped in.





Duratec Engine is fitted, MS2 Extra V3 is assembled and tested, engine running, car now built. IVA passed 26/02/2016

It is out of a factory built westy.

Do you think it’s a i4 Engine then?

It looks to be the same engine as the burton's link (no cam phase sensor, ford commission plate), there's nothing to say what is done to the engine tuning wise, however 200bhp is do able with the right taper thottle bodies, exhaust and no other mods.

It's not on the mating surface there is a flat with numbers stamped on you can still see it with box fitted.
