Now off the road for a while
Ah well - my current insurance on the Locost runs out today, and I realised that there was no point in renewing it until the current crisis is
over.
So now my little toy car is nicely washed, in the garage, SORN'd and about to be covered (once fully dried out). It will sit there until life
starts to get sensible again.
Sigh...
Good luck everyone,
David

Wouldnt leave it uninsured, speak to A-plan or one of the other brokers about laid up insurance.

Insurance renewal = £120
Laid up insurance = £150, with a £70 termination fee if I quit before the end of the policy.
Both quotes from A-Plan.
Go figure...

I'm using mine for traveling to work and what a difference it's made.
Taking the shorter scenic route instead of the M23/M25 has brightened my days

When I insured my road going kit with A Plan I also enquired about laid up insurance for my trackday only Phoenix. They offered me TPF&T for about
£90.
Most companies charge a fee for alterations so in your position you may as well go all in for £120.

I use mine for shopping.
You get loads of toilet rolls in the passenger footwell.
