Fuel Pipe Size Zetec on 45s

Afternoon Guys

I have had my 2.0 blacktop rebuilt over the winter, had it running and all good. While on lockdown looking at other bits to do (Normally wouldnt but lockdown gives me something to alter)

I took the pipe off the regulator which is 8mm standard hose, however it actually runs copper pipe front to my facet pump at the rear.

It seems so small, (3/16th) surely this isnt man enough??

1/4” or 5/16” would be fine 3/8” overkill but 3/16” sound way to small

3/16 is normally used as brake pipe. Deffo too small, I would be using 8mm (5/16)

Bit of a clue, match the size of the 45’s inlet size
