Acewell Wiring

I had some issues with my old dash so I decides to get an new acewell (6xxx)
Today I tried to wire it and wanted to make a test (only rpm from ecu).
So I connected 12v, switched 12v, ground and the rpm signal from the ECU. But nothing happens. The dash does not even light up. Nothing is happening.
Am I missing something here?

What was the issue with the original dash, could that be the same reason why this one is not working?

I have the 7xxx version of an Acewell and there are roughly 20 odd wires to connect for that if I remember but it was simple enough to follow what needed connecting where.

Do you have the wiring daigram.
Wiring diagram here

Russboss should be able to help as he was a dealer for them a while ago and had usually has the answers.

I contacted Acewell and they said the speedo should only need 12v and ground to light up. Looks like my device is faulty.
For the old: dash by now I could sort out why it was not working.
Thanks!
