Zetec OBD2 Port

Hi Guys,

Just went to wire up my OBD2 in my Striker with a Blacktop Zetec on standard ECU, but the wires on the OEM guide don't seem to marry up to what i have.

As you can see from the picture, the wires on my car seem to be different:

Does anyone have any idea which wires i should be using?

Thanks,
Andy

Don't worry about the colours just the pin numbers.

I guess you have a random obd2 from another car. Just pull the green slide from the back and you can move, remove or add pins.

Hi thanks, yeh guess I’ll need to pull the ECU out to trace the pins.
It’s from a year 2000 Mondeo, maybe an OWL5

The picture, is that of the obd2 plug ?

The colours should be as listed for the owl5 but I have seen all sorts.
You only need three pins from the ecu two earths and a switched live.

The pictures from the ECU plug, I had to get a new OBD2 socket which I’ve wired with the colours you suggest on the OEM guide.

Again think I’ll just have to take the ECU out and trace the wires
