Which Clutch Zetec to Type9

Afternoon Guys

I have a Tiger Avon with a 2.0 zetec blacktop, coupled to Type 9 Box

I currently having the engine rebuilt and while its out I may aswell replace the clutch. My question is which one do I require.

I have measured the friction plate which is 215mm dia. From what I have found I believe its a Pinto Clutch but can anyone confirm please ??

A 215 drive plate would be pinto plate. The 1.8 Zetec was 220mm

The cover plate could be either. If it’s in bits have a look at the thrust bearing depth or an extra set of drill and dowl holes in the flywheel

HI,

I have the 1.8 silvertop Zetec and ended up using the Pinto friction plate and the Zetec pressure plate.
Release bearing used is the CT133.

I could not use the Pinto pressure plate as the bolts / dowels did not line up.

Hope this helps.
