Anybody know a company that does hosting?
One that you can find somebody to talk to!

There's a lot of different types of hosting. What do you want to do?

I want something very, very simple. The jargon is all gobbledigook to me.

for some simple page layout and hosting you could look at weebley, (we use a paid subscription for our local museum) but there are free options, so worth a try.
but you need the paid subscription if you want any phone support.

What are your hosting requirements?

1. Personal website?
2. Club website?
3. Any user interactivity required (buying/selling)?

I'm not a host by the way and nor can I recommend one. Just aware of some of the questions/requirements that come up.

It's a bit like saying 'Can you recommend an engine?' without saying whether you want to stick it in an R/C plane or an oil tanker.

My hosting requirements are simple.

A small site, perhaps 25 pages, couple of photos each page and no commerce.

I'd suggest unlimitedwebhosting.co.uk I had my website with them & our Essex Kitcar Club site is with them, they're as cheap as anyone & do give support even with the basic package. All support is web based, you just email to raise a ticket & they respond same day

I no longer run Furore Products or Furore Cars Ltd, but would still highly recommend them for Acewell dashes, projector headlights, dominator headlights, indicators, mirrors etc, best prices in the UK! Take a look at http://www.furoreproducts.co.uk/ or find more parts on Ebay, user names furoreltd & furoreproducts, discounts available for LCB users.
Don't forget Stainless Steel Braided brake hoses, made to your exact requirements in any of around 16 colours. http://shop.ebay.co.uk/furoreproducts/m.html?_dmd=1&_ipg=50&_sop=12&_rdc=1
