Busy Busy Bee
Did manage to have a good weekend, hiding away in the garage with my headphones on and ignoring everyone else but the dog, can't ignore the dog,
it won't let you!
Some of you may remember me shoving paint cans in kettles claiming this now made me a spray painting genius, well I've been at it again, look at
that! Halfords can, full respray of the wing, no lacquer and this is what it looked like the next day, just call me Mr Paint
There was a crack in the wing from a previous ding (probably when it was down in Portugal) and so I cut out the bad section, welding in a repair piece
I made and sanded down the wing. Quite pleased with the result, was actually dreading it tbh but went better than expected.
Also cos it was a productive weekend I reassembled the engine after a major service and decoke, also repaired the radiator leak. Plus I cut timing
marks into the pully and add a pointer to allow me to use a strobe no more daft timing pin!
Now all I have to do is put the front back together!

Looks fabulous but have also been putting paint aerosols in hot water for years - helps get the pressure up and fluidity.
Really nice job though

Very impressive Mr Whippy, keep the pics coming. Good to see a different sort of project too.
Why do they call Port Harcourt "The Garden City"?...... Becauase they can't spell Stramash.
