Oil Pressure Thingy

After the success of my Brake Thingy topic, I thought I'd try you with another question. Should be easy this one.

What thread is used for the oil pressure sender on the OHC engine? I'm after a T-piece so I can run the origional pressure switch and also the sender for the gauge (1/8" x 27 NPT thread). Any idea where I might get a T-Piece?

Cheers
Tom

Try MAC#1 motorsports

I used the oil pressure switch from a VW Golf (GSF: approx' £4.00).

This was a compatible thread with the 'T' piece that came free with the Sierra!

You may wish to wrap a bit of PTFE tape around the thread before fitting it to the 'T'.

HTH,
James
