New Fuel Tank
I’ve just bought a new fuel tank.
It was made to my drawing by Alloy Racing Fabrication.
I’m very pleased with it and here are some pictures for you…

  New fuel tank
  New fuel tank
  Sump to stop fuel starvation

Nice. Just over 8 gallons by my reckoning should give you a decent range. I don't see a fuel guage fitting; any reason not to have one? Did you
put internal baffles in it?

Yep just over 8 gallons
It has internal baffles and the Sump is capped
No fuel level sender simply because I didn’t have one before and it wasn’t a problem
I’m hoping to get it fitted and running in the next month

Looks good and well made. The splash guard is a good idea. Think I'll copy that when I need to replace my plastic MAC#1 one and have the filler
cap on top of the tank, rather than using a flex pipe and filler on top of the rear deck which always takes an age to fill.
Thanks for posting.
Why do they call Port Harcourt "The Garden City"?...... Becauase they can't spell Stramash.
