2017 Fury Spyder - For Sale

Fury Sportcars Spyder, LeMans bonnet – 2.0Ltr Blacktop Zetec fully IVA inspected (1st time pass) and correctly V5 registered with DVLA

Reluctantly for Sale is my Fury Spyder Kitcar which I finished in 2017 and was built by me over a 6 year period.
Built using Sierra donor parts including Type 9 gearbox, rear differential, front uprights, steering and brakes which were all overhauled prior to installation with new parts fitted where needed including bearings, brake pads etc. The engine was removed from a Mondeo estate and had 86k miles on it but is in excellent condition. The engine was fully cleaned; new Cam belt and oil filter fitted. It has a chopped down sump which has had additional area added to increased capacity and baffles welded in at the same time. Custom made exhaust with 400CPI CAT and 4 into 1 manifold. New custom built prop shaft made to mate the gearbox to the diff. The engine runs on the correctly matched Zetec ECU with the Ford PATS system immobiliser and starts first time and runs without any issue. Runs on single throttle body mated to a GBS Manifold. Produces roughly 130BHP and the car weighs 615kg.

JK Composite seats with 4 point harnesses.
Front LED 5 ¾” headlights which light up the road really well and far better than the original Mini 5 ¾ I had fitted and these also have DRL Halo rings. I have an additional pair of DRLs fitted to make the car more visible and these also dim when the main LED lamps are switched on. New Odyssey Extreme PC680 battery fitted last year.
Since building, the car has done 5970 miles but is now not used as often as I would like. Always garaged and only been used in dry weather. Runs and drives superbly with a big smile every time I go out in it.

I have all the paperwork from the build including receipts for the chassis, bodywork, Sierra donor and all the parts fitted. A massive collection of pictures taken throughout the build to document it. There was also a build diary which can still be seen here although I took the website down.
I also have a new set of flexible LeMans Headlight covers, just haven’t got round to fitting them plus a spare 2.0ltr Zetec engine with all the loom and ECU & PATS system required for it to run. I also have a Hamilton half car cover that can be used in rain showers if required.

Happy to take you out for a test drive but no self-drives unless you have full insurance to cover, which I will want to see. Serious enquiries only please, genuine reason for sale, my wife has recently had surgery and can no longer climb in and out of the car so we don’t go out in it as often as we used to and not being used as it should.

I'm listing at£9k but open to sensible offers
