Q Plate Decat ECU Question

Hi,

I've noticed a leak around one of the welds going into my Catalytic convertor.

because of a lack of space the guy that built the exhaust positioned the O2 sensor so it points down to the ground and is very low.

Being on a Q plate I dont have emissions tested so thought about killing two birds with one stone:
1) Remove the Cat
2) Move the sensor to the D Cat pipe where it's pointing up and away from the ground

What I don't know though is would I need my ECU remapped?

How is your fueling calculated, air flow meter or speed density calculated? Is it using wideband feedback for closed loop?

Speed density is not tolerant to breathing changes so would need a remap. If using an afm it will be happier than the other but still ideally you'd remap.
