New toy at work

Yeah things are looking up after a bumpy start to the year, now driving these crazy ass things!

Wish I could own one about at £500,000 their a little outside by budget, plus they've added £75,000 worth of extra tech so yeah the repayments...

Massive things to manoeuvre but they have 360 view camera displays so even reverse parking it is fine. Like going from an old diesel Landrover to a Rolls Royce in standard and comfort. Quite nippy for their size being electric. For once I actually look forward to going to work

Nice.

Being electric, one is inclined to ask the range, re-charge time and kerb weight?

And...repayments, are they not leased? (still hefty sums of £££££)

Yep, all of the above, plus how do you actually recharge it? I can't imagine Tesla owners being very happy with one of those parked in their EV bays!

Most are about 280 miles range and gross weight of 25 tones. I'm often managing to go from Aberdeen to Edinburgh and back with 30% charge left. However they can recharge from 10% - 100% in under an hour, using two water cooled chargers (fastest charging in the world apparently). They were custom designed for us by Yutong, we have an order for another 100. They run a 24/7 service and are turned around much like aeroplanes. I've certainly flown many planes with far less controls

My ride yesterday...much nicer than a Tesla
