Driving Glasses
Hi,
I have a pair of Body Spec glasses for driving my J15 with aero screen. They have a wrap around strap to keep them on my head and three sets of
lenses. Unfortunately the dark ones got cooked in the heat and some kind of coating has peeled off.
Can anyone recommend glasses suitable for use with an aero screen (without helmet). Photochromic would be nice but can't find any of those with a
strap.

You shouldn't really need a strap - the air pressure will keep them in place.
I expect much wailing and gnashing of teeth from the doom-mongers, but I've been driving aeroscreened cars (including a J15) for the best part of
4 decades, just wearing my normal spectacles (I'm short-sighted), without any difficulty.

I have worn wrap around sunglasses when I haven't been going too fast but my main concern is when looking over your shoulder (because of crap
mirrors). If glasses dont have a foam pad the air can get under them and lift them off.

I've never found it a problem... but you can get straps for normal spectacles, if you wish. The cost a fiver, at most.

I brought this brand of glasses years ago when I had a cruiser motorcycle sold the motorcycle carried on using them in my striker with a short screen
they come with a night lens & orange as well as the dark lens as standard,
Bobster Lowrider 2 Goggles also turn into sunglasses! A detachable headband comes included with this package. A headband is sometimes preferred for
open-faced helmets.
