Help required - Blade CDI trouble!
I went for the big fire up yesterday - only to be disappointed to find that my CDI unit looks to be faulty...I've tried it on 2 other cars and
on both I'm unable to get any sparks - all connections have been double checked...
Mine is a 96 blade, - does anyone know which type of CDI I need? - ie what the CDI unit is marked on the top as mine doesn't have any details. -
I'm going to an auto jumble Saturday so may have a look there?
Someone mentioned that a CBR600 one may also work?

Just read this, what a nightmare! did you try another CDI on your car just to be sure?

Unfortunately not, - however Every wire from the CDI to the terminating point was continuity checked - also the CDI was tried on another 96 blade and
also a 93 blade and would not generate a spark on either... so fairly conclusive thats where the fault lies etc..
