Valve springs???

I am building an engine for the 750ms locost championship and I want to make sure I stay legal!

Can I use some springier springs from Burtons?

if so, Is it worth (£6.38 x 8) + VAT for the extra springiness or would the money be better spent on beer!

I dont expect to be winning, just *respectable*.

I also cant beleave it is £159.11 + VAT for a baffled sump! I think mine is going to get some welding done to it instead (fingers crossed over the curbs!).

Any help apreciated.

Last time abyone checked, Burton's had given up on shallow sumps. However, they are worth it, as you can better avoid the kerbs! Try other places such as Vulcan, John Wilcox, Phil Jones, Brian Randall.

Thanks for the info Richard.

What about the Valve springs? Any ideas?

I need to buy them now as I am starting to re-build the top end this week.
