yippee MK GT1 passes SVA retest

I dont believe it.
It passed it was a close thing on the brakes and emissions, but a pass is a pass whichever way you look at it.
For once once i only have praise for the SVA tester who did my re-test,he was very helpful and as keen as me to get it through and passed on the retest this makes a refreshing change,he let me adjust the brake balance bar after setting it on there machine and then let me remove the brake pedal drill, and pin it then refit it,also with the emmissions,we tested it several times whilst i adjusted the mixture screws on the carbs, but it all paid off as we managed to get the emissions within the limits,so all is good looks like it Im going to get to Le Mans after all Quick shake down this week put some miles on it for reliability testing, bags packed then Bon Voage on Sunday Going for the week anyone else going ?
Im travelling down with a GT40,and a Banham RS200 replica should be FUN !
Anyway thanks to everyone who has helped along the way will update pictures with Le Mans photos on return.

bye for now

Regards Simon.

Im meeting up with a mate from work who is going in his dads frog eyed sprite and they are with a couple of austin healey 3000s a ferrari 355 a ferrari dino and a shelby mustang (not sure which one)

Cannot wait!

Ill look out for the GT1, ive never seen one on the road before.

I saw you out side the Buffalo Grill in Le Man on sunday night. I was just moving my car and i saw a beautiful GT40, then behind it the first GT1 ive seen on the road, looked cracking, would have said hello but you looked a bit busy driving!
