Top Wishbones

I am just starting to fit together the front suspension for a Velocity XT. The Top ball joints (supplied by Luego) do not seem to fit into the aluminium adaptor. The hole in the al adaptor is much bigger than the the shaft on the ball joint (which also appears to have a taper. When tightened the rubber boot is trapped between the adatopter and the joint. I feel this is not correct. Can anyone help??
Thanks

I thought the same with mine mate. The boot sits half way down the taper if they havent been fitted before.

U will have to wind it in with a nut to push the boot up the taper. It should just slide up without getting trapped.
