first drive of my Indy

Well,

It works I know cos' I drove it

As the video shows, we had a slight hiccup on the first run, with a loose clutch cable. Once that was sorted I gave it half a dozen runs up and down the lane, getting a bit quicker each time.

Nothing fell off and it sounded good too. Brakes are pretty sketchy, but then everything is new, so it needs to bed in a bit.

It's given me a massive boost to get it finished, now It's a real working car

Looks like fun!! My engine [a Fireblade] gets delivered tomorrow.. Hopfully It won't be long before I can go for a test drive myself >:]

Fantastic, very well done, and what a lovely lane for test drives - iam well jealous on all counts. You spurred me on with that vid as well.

Doesnt look like much to do now to complete it - that is if you can stop driving it and stop grinning long enough!!

Nice one nick,you do have the benefit of a nice country driveway to practise on

I live on an A road (dual carriage),so my first drive was s h it or bust to the SVA test.
