still struggling really badly with my back, been to a specialist but there is nothing he can do as its all bruising, the only thing that is going to help apparantley is two weeks off work
which isnt going to happen so will have to struggle on and hope it gets better soon

Get in the freezer and get a bag of frozen peas. Drop it on your back with just your tee shirt on and stay still for as long as you can. Sweetcorn is usable as well but broccoli florets are crap .

yours, Pete

I went into the RSPCA office the other day. It was so small you could hardly swing a cat in there.

icy heat cream you may have to order it online as it comes from amaerica but its the best thing for muscle related pain

ive been using it on my ankle and since i started the swelling has reduced and the day to day pain has almost subsided damn crappy ankle

its really good stuff though should help your back also try an ice bath just before you get into bed but make sure the bed is warming up with a hot water bottle while your in the ice bath

not very pleasant but a godsend after rugby matches and apparently good for back pain

that is if you can get in ana dout of the bath in the first place

Yup, bag of frozen peas and ice packs great for reducing swelling, getting blood flow to the tissue and aiding healing...

Rub on some ibuprofen gel to help reduce inflamation (not pain killer as such but will help)

i always ask for the gel in the pharmacy, but they never have it and say that the oral ibuprofen is just as good. Never believed them though, i remember it from the good ole days...

Ah but you can take both and then you can top up with co-codomol effervessent...

Nurofen plus is awesome for pain relief... combine with co-codomol and you have prescription only levels of codeine..

sorry, been a pain relief junky due to a history of severe abcess' under my teeth..

Hope all this injury stuff isnt gonna delay my kit

my bro used to extract the codeine by mashing them and sticking it in water in the fridge. Cant remember if its the sediment or the solute that you keep, but he found it very fun!

certainley have matey there not the most expensive things in the world to be fair when you where sponsored by intercomp there probably the cheapest piece of equipment we have in the workshop

did have four complete setups when we where running the raceteam including flat floors ( one was carbon fibre too for full bling effect ) but only kept one set and the laser wheel alignment gear and turntables due to space and money ( sold the carbon flat patch for £3500 to vic lee racing before he went on his holiday

Tell you what if the engine and bits has not been weighed by the time I get over there tonight I will weigh it -

Might stick the V8 on the scales and have a real laugh Depending on the outcome of the weigh in - I might even post details.

Ps first post I think, does that mean I have lost my virginity ?

regards

Iain
