piston info...
have the following figures stamped onto the crown of the pinto piston..therefore are these standard or has the block already been bored?
91.295c SP0.025 LYP
AE21426vi +0.50.
they look in v.good gondition.. with no movement at tdc or bdc, and no lip at the top of the stroke..
Any info please....

isnt that a half mm ovrebore? 0.5mm.
91.295 is the bore size i think.
Beware! Bourettes is binfectious.

Pinto engines rarely developed a lip at the top of the bore and it was not uncommon to find honing marks still evident on a 100000 miler. Check for a
lip at the bottom of the stroke if you can. This is where the wear will be more evident.
Experience is what you get when you don't get what you want!!!
