Cossie brakes
My shiny new EBC RWD Cossie discs arrived today, I will send off my hubs soon to be modded for these and I am going to get the brackets for my
"new" Mondeo calipers at the same time.
I will let you know how it all goes, right now I am just looking at the new discs and imagining how cool they will look under a nice set of wheels.

As Mk4 Rsturbo alloys can't really be classed as a 'nice set of wheels' anymore how about the rear of them?
What size pistons/area coverage of pads are in the mondeo calipers btw?
Cheers

Normal is getting dressed in clothes that you buy for work and driving through traffic in a
car that you are still paying for - in order to get to the job you need to pay for the clothes
and the car, and the house you leave vacant all day so you can afford to live in it.

hi mate I have used EBC on all my road cars up till present....
have you used them before?
I cant give a bad word really
but Im going to try different make
EBC are very noisy brakes BTW
and the zinc covering of the brakes by the wheel nuts, decays after about a month or two and goes all horrible looking so make sure you clean the disk
to look better for longer.,..
AND if you use ebc pads they are a shite for warming up!

I have never used EBC brakes before, indeed I have never bought any brake components before ever, but from a bit of research they seemed to be pretty
good.
Noise does not really bother me too much.
That pads do you recommend? EBC's literature is full of stuff about how only their pads are designed to work with their brakes, but I have heard
mixed reviews, particularly about the amount of time they take to warm up.
Cheers,
Ed
