If we get our currently too loud exhaust sorted (111Db) we'll be on-track. Currently looking at a new can from MK Engineering - I noticed he's just back from his honeymoon today (Tuesday). I know Martin is going to Elvington also but not on track - I'm assuming! I just hope he's not too knackered to make us one up quick!

You could make a temporary noise killer out of a bit of threaded rod, rapped tightly in wire wool, then bend the threaded rod back on itself to hold the wool in place, make it just less than the diameter of the bore of the centre tube of the silencer, then if you have problems you can just remove your silencer and slide it in, I have tried it and it was very effective in reducing noise, and is cheap to do,but having said all that,I would not worry too much about that joel, you have got to be realy noisey at elvington to get removed from the track, its just nice to have a back up just in case

Hi when I had this problem with the Mini
I used a road legal bike can to do the job.
If you have time just weld a bend on the end to stop it pointing at your wheel arch.

These are pennys on ebay as a temp fix

It's good to hear Martin is back but please everyone stop bugging him because he is building my car!!!!!

If there is a few of you there I'll come and have a look as I'm missing the R1 mini

Thanks Lee

Cheers for the look around your car at the weekend Joel. It turned out we were only at Elvington for about ten minutes before dissapearing off to have a look around a Dax with turbo busa engine. Amazing

Measure twice - Cut once - Still f*!K it up!
