Stick On Number Plates
Found a guy on EBay making and selling these:

Hmm.. Are they legal? from two points:
1. don't you have to be a registered plate maker these days.
2. I am not sure that stick on plates are legal (for new use) any more.
Still... The previous owner put them on Occifer
I could be wrong on both counts... just thought I should stir the pot

Unless your car is registered as pre-can't remember. Then they were on the car all along and are so legal!

A mate of mine put one of these on his Esprit (although he had it made up locally) about 2 years ago.
He has not had any trouble from it.
They are not technically legal though.

Like lots of stuff which is on the fringe of legality, if it displays that the owner has used common sense (ie. a regulation plate simply won't
go in the available space, can't be mounted vertically etc) then there is no problem. If you push it too far however, using silly font styles or
radically different sizes ........ 
Technically, LED bulbs are 'for off road use only' as they are not E marked. However if they do a similar or better job than a
conventional light, I can't see Mr Plod getting too fussed.
