Wiring in datalogger

I have a DL1 that I want to wire into the fuse box for an RGB racer. Car electrics are simple beyond engine items and instruments. I have never done this sort of thing before. Are there some basic steps on what fuse to wire it off or anything else to keep in mind?

All help appreciated.
