Made some progress....On a roll...
Well im determined to have the engine in and running and on its wheels by Easter.
So must crack on
Made the rack mounts, over did it a bit (all 3mm plate) It wont be going far!
Trial fitted the front wishbones, rack and uprights.
Cycled it all to check for bump-steer. Still a bit of tidying to do.

Hi Big-W,
Hope you're gonna brace those top bone brackets, either with a horizontal bar between the two or with some plate.
P.S. Those ali clamps look really good

Get an old inner tube from your local tyre outlet and cut it into strips the right width then wind it round the rack till you have the right thickness
and stick the clamps on over it.
yours, Pete
I went into the RSPCA office the other day. It was so small you could hardly swing a cat in there.

Hi Big-W.
No, sorry mate, I never got any with them - didn't think you needed them either.
Racing bike inner tube is a good idea though.
Sorry,
Pat...

Arent those Rally Design clamps? Same as mine. To get the fit right i tried Rubber but they only need a very thin piece. ended up using Pop bottle
plastic cut into a strip and wound round once. It wont compress like rubber and is weatherproof and doesnt degrade.
