mobile phone help
Help please
my wife wants to transfer some photos from her phone a samsung e700 to the computer. as it doesnt have bluetooth we bought a usb data cable which came
with a installation cd
the problem is when i plug cable in to computer it asks me to insert disc then it seems to install okay and a box appears at the bottom saying your
device is ready to use, i cant figure out how to find the device on the computer and transfer photos
Hope this makes sense

Hi i have the S700. but use infra red to send pics when connected i see the phone as another drive.

Hi how do you send them by infrared i dont see that option when i go to send

usually your phone would be added as an icon beside your other drives. It can then be browsed via windows explorer or equvilent.

also usually , with these sort of devices, you should install the software from the disc before you plug the phone in.

Yes i have tried installing disc first and then connecting phone to computer but that still didnt work
do you think the disc with the driver on could be faulty?

have you looked on the 'my programs' list on the start bar, there should be a new entry highlighted there. My nokia also stuck the icon on
the desktop. Failing that, try a search for various things, starting with the phones manufacturers name.

Have you double clicked 'My Computer' and looked for a Removable Disc. Thats wher my phone appears.
