wheel nuts

Hi
anyone got any spare wheel nuts to fit fords. i need a minimum of 8 for putting on some steel wheels just to wheel it about

Go to your local dealer, he'll have loads of odd ones where they've been removed to fit locking ones.

Local dealer... £1.50 for alloy wheel ones. Probably even cheaper for steelies.

Breaker / dimantler will prob give you some just to get rid of you. I heard a guy in a breakers some time ago asking for secondhand brake pads. Taking the Locost route a step too far methinks!

early fords used a 7/16" UNF thread not the M12x1.5 the later cars used

the changeover was mid 70's so some escorts and cortinas will have UNF thread
