fuel pump

iv been reading in the archives that a facet pump and pressure regulator will not be suitable for bike carbs, is this true? if so what pump should i use i have a 2.1 pinto running 36mm mikuni carbs will a normal bike pump be able to pump the distance from tank to bay?

Yes no problem....I was in your position a month ago but anything 600cc + will churn it out no problem.....Oli.

if you would like to sell your old pump I need a facet red top for my project.

fortunatly i didnt purchase a facet pump and reg before i heard that it wouldnt be suitable for bike carbs.

i have spyed a zx9 pump on ebay ending in 2 hours still at 99p no bids, it will be mine
