Would this bit be a fly in the works - in terms of wiring it into a car ?
The electronics on this motorcycle utilize CAN (Controller Area Network) technology, which saves weight (by using fewer wires) and allows for a
greater volume of information delivered to the cockpit. In addition to all of the normal readouts (tachometer, speedometer, trip meters, and fuel
gauge), the ZX-14 provides a volume of information normally reserved for dedicated tourers, such as clock, water temperature, gear position indicator,
current MPG, average MPG, fuel mileage range, and battery voltage. It even offers adjustable shift rpm and launch rpm warning lights.
Possibly tricky ?

Isn't that CAN wiring the same stuff that turned certain Peugeots in to fire bombs?
Should be a good fire damaged market then??

can is used on almost every new car. it should be no worse than a current car engine to wire up. (plus it should allow easier plugging the ecu into a
computer to get all the measured parameters off.

I agree, if it is CANBUS then you'll be able to get all sorts of electronic goodies to plug into it a lot more easily.
