Pinto Sump Mod

Hi

I am a newbie here and no doubt this is my first post of hundreds to come

Does any body have the dimensions for a modified Pinto Sump please

Very helpful

You need to chop enough off so that the bottom of the sump is about level with the chassis rails. So it depends on your engine mounts. But at a guess I would say somewhere around 30-40mm is about right...

I stand to be corrected though.

Only thing I would suggest that there is not much point in reducing the sump further than the lowest part of the clutch bell housing. If that makes sence. imho. ATB Ray.

I followed Marks illustration. Worked a treat. Highly recommended if you want to do it yourself.

Sealing the welds with Mig is a pig to do but possible if you are half decent welder and patient.

Thanks guys great work.

I like the second one (from RHOC) site IIRC but I will look at both and make my mind up.

The link to Mark's doesn't seem to work but I've had a kind offer for email so no problem.
