Vacuum Dizzy

Ok, I've bought a pair of 40s (cheers Joel) and need to know about vacuum dizzys.
There are, what appear to be, bosses on nos 2 and 4 manifold ports (undrilled).
If I drill and tap these, join them up and attach to vac advance on dizzy, will this work?
BTW dizzy is Bosch electronic valencia jobby.
Eventually I'm going Megajolt, so wondered about cutting losses on dizzy or even modifying to non vac.
Please help

Marcus

You won't be able to use the Vacuum advance. It won't work properly.

Cut your losses go for MJ or Vacuumless dizzy

Cheers

Hi Marcus

I've used a vac dizzy on my pinto with the vac disconnected, doesn't seem to affect performance

I am going to fit a megajolt though, mainly for improved progression and mpg

Adrian
