If i bought a good Escort MK2 that should have 90% of what I need as fas as donar parts go.

For a race car you should have all you need except for some cortina uprights.

If it's as rusty as our donor was, you should be thanking your lucky stars it's off the road

2-3 decades in the GB climate, coupled with 70's rust "prevention" has left plenty of escrotes beyond repair, I know with ours, no amount of goodwill and welding wire could've saved it
