Donor Engine

I am looking at building a 750MC car.

Now if I get a 1600 MK2 I should be able to use every thing in that car to build the locost right?

Then if I get a 1300 engin and gear box that should work right, or if I get a MK2 1300 auto can I replace the gearbox with a manual?

Thanks JJM

all bar the front hubs, i think you will need cortina ones

the auto swap on an escort is simple i did it on my first mk2. you will need a manual pedal box, clutch, flywheel spigot bearing and the box

as you will have the engine out very simple. off with the sludgebox and torque converter, knock in the spigot bearing bolt on flywheel and clutch and then bolt the box on.
