Sierra Steering

Hi,

In process of sorting donor, all that I have found have got power steering. Realise rack is no good, but is rest of steering the same? enabling me to use the column and links. Or is the non PAS column different? Looked in Manuals without success.
thanks
jim

sierra column

the columns from the power steering sierra are fine to use, im using a column that is from a sierra with power steering (or it used to have power steering) i have changed the rack to an escort quick rack from 'Rally Design'(2.4 turn, from lock to lock) you will need to weld an extention onto the column and get a couple of UJ's and an extension rod to connect to the steering rack. then you will also need steering rack extensions(if you choose the escort rack) and track rod ends, then put it all together, easy, job done!

hope this helps
