The thing that usually cheers me up is spending the money! what you going to get, spinner wheels? carbon fibre seats?
I sold the wife's old car on wednesday night. Hmmm £1,000 in folding. Gone now though!

Currently trying to sell mine.
Had it on ebay for two runs and no bids starting at £3300.
Going to the dealer over the weekend as he offered me £3200.
Had it nearly five years.
Gonna be a sad day!

Hi All,
OK, feel a bit happier now. Just filled in the bank paying in slip.
All in all, a good deal. Bought it in '98, a year old, for 5k. Sold in '06 for 2k.
Lost 3k in 8 years. You wouldn't do that with a car.
The one thing I'll miss is the camaraderie between bikers.
Doesn't matter what you've got, Honda 200 or a 916. To bikers, a bike is a bike.
I can't imagine a bike forum with a leading thread...
"Miserable Yam/Honda/Suzuki/Kwak/Duke Owning Bastards"(delete as applicable).
O well, I'm off to Barclays.

Every time I've sold something I was attached to, it was with sadness. But - I've gradually got it into my thick skull that there will
always be something which comes along (eventually) to replace it and you will feel just as good about that as well.
Felt sad when I sold the first Robin Hood (honestly, I really did) - the Sylva replaced that.
Felt sad when I sold the Sylva - we did a lot with that car, utbThe Ginetta replaced that.
Didn't feel sad when the Ginetta sold.
Bought another Hood - a real beauty.
That was replaced by an elderly Silver 924 - which was replaced by a Red 924. Loved both of those - missed them both.
Then had the locost, which was fab. Sad to sell, but bought the GTM, which was mega and introduced me to sprinting/hillclimbing. Realy sad to sell
that, but now I have.........
Another Sylva (pics to follow
)
So - yep, it's sad to see them go, but you've got the cash, and you'll get another some time.

Fancy a Honda Firestorm...
I did till I saw the tank range on them, about 100 miles to the next fill up is ridiculous.
yours, Pete
I went into the RSPCA office the other day. It was so small you could hardly swing a cat in there.
