As Ive had two early '95 Zetecs slip from my grasp and im now losing patience .....can anyone tell me exactly what is the problem with fitting a
newer Zetec engine

isn't it that post aug 95 you will need a cat which makes life a whole lot more difficult for SVA?

Ive read that its to do with the emissions.
But what needs to be done to get the car through the test?
These early '95 engines seem to be like hens teeth over here and
if I thought I could get a newer engine through I might give it a rattle.

im fitting a 1999 zetec and cant see the problem should pass through ok!
i know a mate who runs a mondeo(yuk) whihc is decated, chiped etc and passes MOT no bother
Built, Ivaed, Drove and now Sold - 2011 MNR VORTX RT+ 2000cc Zetec on R1 Throttle boddies.
