Todays top gear.

Did anyone watch todays top gear on bbc 2? In my opinion definatly the most entertaining one ever done. Mays herald was just fantastic. Who else wants to build something like that?

Gave up with Top Gear ages ago, didn't like the format too much, and I felt it was a bit jaded.

However we did watch tonights show, and haven't laughed so much in ages, it was brilliant!

The new series is quite funny. It's got to be the best programme on TV at the moment.

Very funny this week but aren't they losing the plot? Where were the CARS? (apart from the Exige of course)

Whatever the budget was, JC must have blown it. That engine he strapped on the pickup is £13K !! ....... and he wanted TWO of them!

TG Love it, ok not about cars most of us can afford ( or why would we be building the things ) but as an hour entertainment for us part time grease monkies can't realy knock it, I think they have got just about right.

downloadable copies can be found on torrent sites such as bit torrent. think current series is number 8 so search for bbc top gear s8 e3 or similar. i keep missing them and have watched the last 2 weeks this way.

cheers . when the pickup started to roll was the funniest moment for ages, made me laugh out loud.

The whole family sit and watch it now which is a bit spooky but yes it made me laugh as much as green wing or any other comedy.

Makes a change for the BBC to get it right.

i was so disappointed clarksons didn't just sink straight away from the weight of the engine.

and even more disappointed when hammond sank. but then I do have a VW type 25 van so I wanted him to win.

It's worth pointing out that they are only about 1400kg empty, so god knows how he got it up to 2.5 tons!

I usually watch this one after I hear whether it was good or not. You can see the tv listings on bleb.org if you don't get a paper. Set the recorder for it Joel it sounds worth it.

yours, Pete

I went into the RSPCA office the other day. It was so small you could hardly swing a cat in there.
