rusty alloys

Hi all

I'm refurbing some alloys and have removed all the old paint, I was planing to leave the rims polished alloy with a coat of lacquer. But where the old paint was chipped the alloys turned black, I’ve tried sanding it but its still visible. Can anyone recommend a machine shop that could cut the rims back to good ally?

There's an alloy refurb/repair place in Melton Mobray so pretty close to you.

I had a TSW alloy repaired which had a buckled rim as they are old and they don't make the design anymore.

Don't have the number to hand but if google doesn't throw anything up I can get it tomorrow. I'm sure that's where I got it from.

Here's the place Click Here
