testing an r1 tps

can any body help with the wiring of the r1 tps?
also can i bench test this and how?

dont think mine is doing what it should..

readings on the megajolt runtime display start at 100 then drop to 22 then instantly hit 177 no nice smooth transition.. help..

Only way to test a TPS is with an osilloscope, connect the +ve connector to +5v and the ground the earth connector to 0v -- attach the scope to the signal and check you get a nice smooth change in output voltage as ypu move the splindle. Any glitches in the output and the TPS is unserviceable.

All fixed, have replaced the Tps with a new unit and all is hunky dorry...
