Which engine have you got?
Is it the 1600 BDA out of the Mk1 Escort RS1600 or the CVH out of the Mk3 Escort RS 1600i ???
A pic would be helpful either way.

Hi
Its the one out of the MK3 but has had the efi replaced with twin 40 webbers. It looks like some kind off new thermostat housing has been fabricated and an inline thermostat has been put in the top hose. What i was after was a diagram of the layout of the standard engine .I should be able to work it out from there.Unfortunatly the rs 1600i isnt covered in the Haines manual and the pictures that are there are not very clear.
added some photos not sure what good they will be tho.
