Fifth Gear earlier this week ..................
Just got around to watching Fifth Gear from earlier this week. What is it with these people? Why do they think that squashing cars is entertainment?
Particularly motoring entertainment!
Last series they trashed an old Merc, this time they squashed a Golf with a promise of "Trash your ride" appearing in further shows.
I may have found this entertaining when I was about 10 years old, but now I have a mental age of 12+ it's rubbish - long live Top Gear - hope

The new presenter (Tim Lovejoy) is a total plonker as well... in the end I turned the prog off just to get rid of him.

There's pages and pages of abuse, 7 pages before the program had finished!

I don't blame them, he was CRAP!
Crap Aygo thing, crap plane vs Evo, crap Mini vs RC car, crap Golf stunt, crap interview with Al Gore................
Still entered the comp though

The program seemed to be put together by hung over 1st year media students with no interest or knowlege of cars. Even VBH seems to have waned in
interest.
If you can keep you head, whilst all others around you are losing theirs, you are not fully aware of the situation

They are trying to emulate Top Gear, but have failed dismally.
The stunts were not impressive or even relevant to anything. Crap.

I got the impression that VBH was very uncomfortable with the new format - there was a distinct sense of desperation in her voice and her mannerisms.
She seemed to be trying too hard...
...mind you, I gave up early into the programme so I'm no judge!
