Any ideas where to get a set of brushes for this grinder it is a double ended 8 incher.

Best bet is to take your old ones out and take them to an electrical supplier/repair shop. There are several types with springs attached or without where the spring is in the housing. Somewhere like anglocarbon may be able to help if you can't find a local supplier.
