Coolant plumbing - xflow twin carbs

Hi all,

Am I right in thinking the plumbing goes as shown below in my photo?

those are the heater outlets which i believe are the same thread as the 19mm plugs in a pinto block. in stead of connecting the two with a pipe why not block them both off for a cleaner look?

Connect them together and also tee into the bottom of your header tank , which ideally should be mounted on the bulkhead above the engine level. This allows a flow of water around the engine before the thermostat opens and avoids problems with airlocks and overheating, my car is done this way and has had no cooling problems.
