EXCITED!!!

I've been posting here for over 2 years and I _FINALLY_ am going to begin this crazy journey!!

In the next two weeks, I have FIRM plans to purchase a wire-feed gas-capable mig welder (clarke, ?190? amp)

A nicely timed birthday with about $200 in proceeds will get me started, and the beginning of our "allowance" phase of money management will keep me going at about $300-400 per month from today onward.

Before the car, I plan to build a 4 wheeled recumbent pedal cycle for welding practice.

I'm so excited!!!
Next weekend I'm going shopping with a big lump of cash, and I don't plan on coming home with any of it!

Some people are worried about the difference between right and wrong. I'm worried about the difference between wrong and fun.

In the States would your budget not stretch to a Lincoln welder or other similar machine. What are prices of them as I think they are better than Clarke although that is not a bad machine .

Was this the result of someone pressing the report trader button on an advert? Seemed to be a spate of those last week.

I'd email ChrisW if you aren't a trader.

It`s all I can think of. Have mailed him. Only ever sold two things on the forum.
