Engine wiring Zetec

Have just acquired a 1.8 Zetec engine and am about to install it in to my rolling chassis and was wondering what wiring / equipment do I need to get it running , the intention is to run it first on a set of 40’s as I have a set and then change over to TB when I work out how.

if ur defiantly going down the carb route and then ITBs megasquirts not a bad option... but in my humble opinion its an expensive way of doing it. carbs arnt cheap!if ur saying 40s i assume ur looking Webber or jenvy ?

Why not just got EFI from the start if thats where you want to end up?

I agree with JackNco, the main thing I regret about my build is not using TB's from the start.
